Join a workshop for mouth-watering morsels and delectable dishes
Another new year is here and if you’ve missed our baking workshops, fret not – they’re back and better than ever.
This year, we’ve decided to add cooking workshops to the menu as well – alternating these with monthly baking workshops, starting from this month right up to August. This means that in total, there will be three sessions on baking and three sessions on cooking.
For the baking workshops, we have Chef Don Yong from MIB showing us how to make cookie and cake creations as well as warm, fluffy bread.
Meanwhile, Chef Sukor Rahim will helm the cooking workshops, sharing secrets on making mouth-watering morsels and delectable dishes.
Sukor has over 20 years’ experience in the food preparation industry and is an instructor at MIB, Universiti Teknologi Mara’s Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management, and Victoria College. He’s also an award winner when it comes to fruit and vegetable carving, having bagged the bronze at a worldwide pumpkin carving challenge in Singapore in 2008. The great news is that he’ll be demonstrating his carving skills, often on display at international food festivals, at our very own cooking workshops!
Joining each workshop only costs 100 ringgit (US$32) and in addition to bringing your own creations home, participants get a recipe booklet, a goodie bag and the chance to win baking and cooking books too.
Interested? All you have to do is register online, wait for a seat confirmation, make your payment and come to the workshop. To register, go to kuali.com.
