Terror alarm klonk voor 21 juli over grote Indiase steden

After a tip-off from the US consul general in Kolkata, India's Western Naval Command during the terror a warning here for Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore asked local police and intelligence networks to tighten Wake in their respective jurisdictions.

The threatening letter was passed on to Mumbai police and the Anti terrorism team (ATS) by Sanjay Kumar, the command intelligence officer at Western Naval Command in Mumbai.

At the same time, was also the information forwarded to the Intelligence Bureau and its offices in these three cities. The central agencies have been, so far clueless about Al Jihad. Police say it could be an off-shoot of the Indian Mujahideen or her mentor Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). The Mumbai ATS has released posters of four Indian Mujahideen (IM) agents in Maharashtra that are wanted in connection with the blasts by the Pune.

The vigil in Mumbai and Nashik and nearby towns like Deolali Cantonment army has accelerated after the condemnation of IM operative Himayat Madsen by a court in the case of Pune German bakery blast. He is on death row if the ATS produced sufficient evidence for its involvement in the explosion that killed 17 people.
