Myanmar has reinforced security measures and tightened control over travel visa after reports of possible terrorist attacks in the country, according to Min Aung, Police Lieutenant-Colonel of the police of Myanmar.
"We have reported that terrorists are trying to enter the country and attempting bombing. So, we ordered [regional police services] to step up safety measures. We must always ask if they can wait for the chance to attack. Security has been tightened on the border posts, too, "he said.
